About

Montefiore Medical Center SATP UNIT 1 is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 3550 Jerome Avenue in Bronx, New York. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Montefiore Medical Center SATP UNIT 1. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Montefiore Medical Center SATP UNIT 1.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Montefiore Medical Center SATP UNIT 1, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Montefiore Medical Center SATP UNIT 1 have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Montefiore Medical Center SATP UNIT 1. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Montefiore Medical Center SATP UNIT 1 can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Montefiore Medical Center SATP UNIT 1 by visiting www.montefiore.org now.

This hospital saved my husband life. Caring and professional staff and the doctors were very knowledgeable and fast acting in his care. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is for the old rooms and some cleanliness issues and short on supplies at times but overall the care was awesome.

The emergency room could use some attention. It gets very crowded and people get stacked up. With that said, when you get admitted; the doctors and nurses are phenomenal. The hospital is clean and sanitized, the nurses are kind and caring. The doctors are informative. Communication can also be looked at. There may be some disconnect between nurses and doctors.

Our friends recently gave/received a liver transplant. They had the BEST of care. When we visited, every single employee we met was smiling and helpful. I recently retired as an OR nurse in a different hospital, and I was really impressed with the care they got. they get the highest rating from me!

I think it's uncouth and tacky to stand at someone's death bed just before you'll be hooked up to the IV; to inform you of your co-pay and ask how you plan on paying for this- ready with a card reader to take payment. I regret caving to this type of inquiry while in so much duress and should have told the registration person that they already had my insurance, name and address, place of employment, and that they could send me a bill in the mail. I guess that being in the 'hood, that's how people roll since they think they ain't going to get paid...

Monti ER has given me great care.I go there every month for dehydration due to a vomiting syndrome I have for past 8 yrs.The doctors have good bedside manners. But kudos go to Dr.Brody and especially my love for Dr.Lina Cardona who has taken care of me several times for being sympathetic to my illness and is very caring to her patients. She is the best and may God Bless Her and may she continue to care for her patients the way she has.

I rate this hospital one of the best of the Bronx area, when you are in patient the doctors are great, now the staff like nurses and nurse assistance you might not like all their performance. On the ER area I understand we are in a over populated city dont expect to be the only patient with an emergency in any ER area in this city.
